Compensation Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate compensation data to ensure alignment with company goals and market competitiveness.
  • Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
  • Conduct job evaluations and market pricing studies to determine appropriate salary ranges.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to design and implement compensation programs.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate compensation analysis findings.
  • Prepares and maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents.
  • Stay informed about compensation trends and regulations to make recommendations for adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with compensation-related laws and regulations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in compensation-related processes and tools.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Compensation Analyst or in a related role.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and compensation software
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CCP, CBP).
  • Experience in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with Sage Timberline and/or Arcoro.
