We are looking for a Technical Data Analyst to join our team and make a significant impact on this special project. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive data integrity assessments across different datasets and systems. Conduct data cleaning activities to rectify inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and duplications. Direct outreach to colleagues requesting they address data issues. Develop and implement data quality rules, standards, and processes. Work collaboratively with data owners, IT, and other stakeholders to align on data governance practices. Utilize data analysis tools (i.e., Power BI) and techniques to identify patterns and trends. Document data quality issues and remediation actions taken. Provide regular progress reports and data quality metrics to project leaders. Support the development of automated data cleaning and validation scripts. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related role. Strong Excel skills. Experience with data integrity and data cleaning processes. Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or R. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Strong understanding of data governance and data quality management principles. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience managing multiple priorities. Experience handling conflict and difficult situations. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data issues to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Passion for Data Integrity and Data Quality initiatives. Preferred Skills: Experience working in the energy sector or with energy-related data. Knowledge of big data frameworks and technologies.
