Job Summary:

The Church Media and Creative Director will oversee the churchs digital and creative presence, ensuring that all media content aligns with our mission, vision, and values. This position requires a dynamic individual who can lead and inspire both volunteer and professional teams in the creation and production of various media forms to enhance worship, promote outreach, and support educational programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive media strategy that utilizes various platforms (social media, website, newsletters, podcasts, etc.) to engage the congregation and broader community.
- Create compelling digital content, including videos, graphics, and written materials, that reflects the churchs mission and message.
- Oversee live production elements of services, including sound, lighting, video recording, and live streaming.
- Collaborate closely with pastoral staff and ministry leaders to highlight church activities, special events, Sermon Series, and community outreach programs.
- Manage the churchs website, ensuring content is current, engaging, and facilitates online interactions and connections.
- Lead, mentor, and expand the media team, including recruiting and training volunteers.
- Maintain and manage all media equipment, ensuring it is up-to-date and functional.
- Monitor and respond to analytics and feedback to optimize the reach and engagement of digital content.
- Manage the media departments budget, including forecasting and planning for future investments in technology and equipment.
- Stay current with trends in Christian media, digital evangelism, and technological advancements, continuously incorporating fresh ideas.

Qualifications:
- A strong personal faith and alignment with the churchs doctrine and values.
- Bachelors degree in media, communications, graphic design, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in digital media content creation and management, preferably within a ministry context.
- Proficiency with various content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.), content management systems, and social media platforms.
- Technical knowledge of audio, video, and lighting systems.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate both volunteers and professional staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage with a diverse range of individuals and groups.
- Creative, innovative thinker with the ability to translate concepts into impactful, accessible digital content.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
