Schedule: Full Time Shift: (4) 10hr shifts, days to be determined Location: 1311 Minnesota Ave Suite C, Winter Park FL 32789 The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Sports Medicine & Rehab patients The role you’ll contribute: When you join our team of over 40 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew. We serve patients Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealth’s mission in the communities we serve. The value you’ll bring to the team: Evaluates patients, interprets results accurately and provides a written report with recommendations within guidelines. Completes financial agreements and follows up with the patient in a professional and courteous manner. Documents accurately, completely and timely with legible handwriting. Uses measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures. Charges patients accurately, timely and legibly according to guidelines of CPT code format, price file, and following insurance guidelines. Utilizes appropriate approach and communication skills for the population served, which may include: Neonate/Infant (birth Identifies the need for patient/caregiver teaching and utilizes each opportunity for teaching on a planned or spontaneous basis. Documents education and understanding as appropriate. Qualifications What You Will Need: Doctoral degree in Audiology Current valid State of Florida license as an Audiologist Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate Cochlear Implant Experience- PREFERRED This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
