Assure highest possible level of guest satisfaction.Responsible for capturing sales through reservations and sales inquiries.Guest check in, check out; familiarization with resort activities and lodging packages; answer guest questions, assist with problems. Coordinates front office activities to assure that guest service standards are consistently met and optimum numbers of rooms are occupied. Must be flexible in scheduling and be able to work weekends and holidays.Must be able to develop, lead and train other front desk agents.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Well versed in all aspects of agent duties.

Demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests, homeowners and employees.

Sells the value of Purgatory Resort to all inquiries (via telephone and in person) and strives to convert them into reservations and return guests.

Ability to handle and resolve guest issues as they arise in a timely and fair manner.

Ability to solve guest accounting issues with use of folio adjustments, etc.

Ability to work alone without management presence for extended periods of time.

Assist management in daily duties.

Must show patience and effective listening skills.

Must be able to communicate important information with guests, lodging department, and other Purgatory departments.

Must be well versed in the Night Audit position and its responsibilities and show the ability to work this shift when asked to do so.

Provide leadership to others.Must ensure that Font Desk Agents are adhering to basic competencies and implement new policies and procedures when needed.

Must continually assist in the training and education of Front Desk Agents.

Must be knowledgeable of all resort departments and key personnel.

Must be well versed in Word and Excel to create documents and spread sheets.
