GENERAL FUNCTION

:

The Senior Commercial Credit Analyst is responsible for the underwriting and analysis of commercial real estate, construction and commercial & industrial loans . This individual will play a key role in credit administration department; including the training and mentoring of less experienced analysts and assisting Loan Officers in structuring loan requests that adhere to the Bank’s policies and procedures. .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the preparation of quality, detailed financial analysis including cash flow models and collateral evaluations in order to identify potential credit risks.

Capable of evaluating complex financial statements to spread and analyze in order to prepare a credit presentation.

Mentor and assist in training of less experienced commercial credit analysts.

Make recommendations in accordance with sound banking practices in order to minimize risk exposure.

Ensure commercial loan requests adhere to bank policies and procedures.

Effectively communicate and partner with the Commercial Lender or Team Leader to assist with monitoring of the loan portfolio.

Participate in on-site client meetings with the Commercial Lender or Team Leader.

Review of appraisals to ensure adherence to applicable federal regulations and soundness of analysis and conclusions.

Complete independent research and analyze market conditions to assess collateral values.

Assist with maintaining bank's commercial credit tickler system, to include tracking of financial statements, and other customers reporting/Review and monitor working capital draws.

Assists in assigning underwriting requests, reviewing of loan presentations and taking meeting minutes for loan committees, when applicable.

Completion of special projects as required by senior management and other additional responsibilities as requested.

Prepare loan presentations accurately and in a timely manner.

Have read, understand and know the Bank’s Lending Policy.

Some contact with customers, conducting relationships in a professional manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the bank.

Required Experience

Completed Bachelor’s degree in Business, preferably Accounting or Finance

Minimum of 5-years previous Commercial Credit Analyst experience within a financial institution

Sageworks Risk Analyst

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience and four plus years of experience in a network environment on an enterprise scale or any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or certification(s).

* Pass Federal Security Clearance Requirement 5C or 6C access. * Hold and maintain an Industry Standard, Agency applicable certification in the Networking Field. * Advanced knowledge of all levels of Cisco platforms and protocols such as ACI, ISE, SD WAN and DNS concepts. * Experience working in a multi-platform environment. * Working knowledge of Infoblox architecture and configurations. * Working Knowledge of Check Point architecture administration and configuration. * Knowledge of the Cisco Product Portfolio (ACI, ISE, Stealthwatch, SD-WAN, Umbrella and Cisco Duo). * Ability to troublshoot network issues and provide solution(s). * Proven skills in utilizing common functions such as: Cloud Services and connection technologies, Office 365 * Demonstrated ability to learn and support new network hardware, software and monitoring tools and apply innovative business solutions. * Proficient ability to read computer vendor specifications and technical product manuals for implementation, customization and/or administrative purposes. * Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously. * Excellent written, communication and collaboration skills. * This position will support a federal government contract.
