**BSW ROUND ROCK MEDICAL CENTER EXPANSION 2025**

Our expansion, spanning 165,000 square feet, will introduce a state-of-the-art patient tower to our Round Rock hospital, tailored to accommodate the evolving needs of our rapidly growing population. Among its highlights, the tower will house an innovative 11-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, alongside expanded capacities for crucial departments such as med/surg and labor and delivery.
Anticipate a host of enhancements, including:
+ Additional operating rooms, cath labs, and procedural areas.
+ Expansions and upgrades to communal spaces.
+ Implementation of advanced equipment across various departments.
+ Shell space earmarked for future growth, including the expansion of our Emergency Department and operating suites.

**Job Summary**
The Wound Care Registered Nurse assesses patients, establishes diagnoses, and creates healthcare plans. They observe and evaluate patient responses. This role ensures patient safety during healthcare journeys by understanding patient needs and assisting with encounters.

+ Conduct clinical assessments maintaining the highest standard of practice.
+ Be proactive in designing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans.
+ Take part in initiatives to improve quality and performance.
+ Build therapeutic relationships with both patient and family.
+ Engage in collaborative and mutual work with colleagues and the community.
**What Will Make You Successful In The Role**
+ You need a good understanding of nursing standards and patient care.
+ Understanding legal and ethical considerations is important for success.
+ Good communication skills are essential.
+ You must be a problem solver who can quickly detect and react to changes in patients.

**Qualifications**
+ Completion of an associates degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
+ A minimum of (3) three years of relevant nursing experience.
+ Holding an effective Registered Nurse licensure
+ Must have Basic Life Support certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting the job.
