Flutter Developer - U.S. Customs and Border ProtectionLocation: Hybrid: Mainly remote with occasional onsite presence in Kingstowne or Ashburn, VA)About the Role:

As a Flutter Developer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing CBPs suite of targeting and analysis systems. These systems support law enforcement activities at all 328 Ports of Entry along the borders between Ports of Entry and at strategic international locations in 50 countries. Your work directly contributes to national security, public safety, and the facilitation of lawful trade and travel.

Responsibilities:

+ Follow life cycle methodologies and develop/unit test Flutter Apps Widgets and Plugins using Dart as part of an enterprise cross-platform mobile team.

+ Resolve technical issues through debugging analysis research and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

+ Support building and distributing iOS and Android mobile apps through a general understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile development and deployment.

+ Work with users in an Agile development approach to understand and document requirements in JIRA then elicit feedback and refine solution through demonstrations.

+ Present solutions at formal and informal design reviews and document the design according to the Governments system lifecycle methodology

Required Skills:

+ Flutter: Proficiency in developing mobile applications using Flutter.

+ Dart: Strong experience with Dart programming language.

+ Swift: Familiarity with Swift for iOS development.

+ Java (Android): Knowledge of Android app development using Java.

+ React: Understanding of React for web development.

+ Front-end Development: Proficiency in front-end development.

+ Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile development environment.

+ AWS: Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

+ Experience with the React Native framework

Qualifications:

+ Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related technical field.

+ Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

+ Eligible for a public trust
