JobTitle: Fleet Manager Job Summary: Our fleet is a crucial part of ourbusiness, and we are seeking a dedicated Fleet Manager who will beresponsible for managing and maintaining our fleet of vehicles, ensuringthey are in optimal condition for safe and efficient operation. Thisrole combines hands-on mechanical work with fleet management duties,including scheduling, budgeting, and compliance. The ideal candidatewill have extensive mechanical expertise, strong organizational skills,and a proactive approach to fleet maintenance. This role plays acritical role in ensuring all Century employees have seamless access totheir work vehicles. The position will be fully on-site in Pewaukee orKnapp, Wisconsin. Major Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance andrepair of the company\'s fleet, including trucks, cars, and othervehicles. Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program tominimize downtime and extend vehicle lifespan. Conduct regularinspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical issues.Coordinate and supervise repair work performed by outside vendors andensure quality standards are met. Maintain accurate records of allmaintenance and repair activities, including parts and labor costs.Manage fleet budgets, including tracking expenses and optimizing repairand maintenance costs. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations,including safety standards and emissions requirements. Develop andenforce policies and procedures for fleet management, including vehicleacquisition, disposal, and usage. Train and mentor other team members asneeded. Respond to emergency repair needs and provide on-call support asrequired. Organize and document proven processes and procedures. Travelto other Century locations and job sites as needed. Qualifications: Highschool diploma or equivalent; formal training or certification inautomotive technology is strongly preferred. Proven experience as amechanic, with significant experience managing a fleet of vehicles.Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills, including experiencewith diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.Familiarity with fleet management software and maintenance trackingsystems. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Abilityto manage budgets and perform cost analyses. Strong communication andleadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with all teammembers. Valid driver\'s license and a clean driving record; CDLpreferred but not required.
