Our Traveling Assistant Superintendent opportunity is a challenging and rewarding opportunity with great career growth potential You’ll get to work with a Lead or Senior Superintendent onsite as we serve as the general contractor on large, custom ministry facilities through the Midwest, East, South, and Southeast.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Direct, coordinate, and facilitate meetings for subcontractors, consultants, design team members, and local authorities.
Actively assist in management of subs, QA/QC programs, and project schedule.
Enforce all safety policies.
Utilizing Procore to track daily logs, meeting minutes, photos, and other key project reporting.
Perform some manual labor such as general site clean-up, installing fences, signage, or other like tasks.
Assist in the preparation of RFIs, provided recommended solutions for consideration.
Seek opportunities to enhance project efficiency.
Coordinate necessary required inspections.
Support logistics planning.
Work on special projects, as assigned.
At times, cover as the sole Superintendent when Leads have PTO.
May assist with call-backs and warranty work support on completed projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years experience working on commercial projects
Ability to effectively lead and communicate with owners and peers
Eager to grow into a lead superintendent
Exceptional organization, time-management and leadership skills

Location and Travel:
This position will require being at a jobsite during the workweek. Our projects tend to be in the Eastern half of the U.S, but are spread out geographically across many states. At times, you would be staying for a few days or a week at a time (to cover PTO, train with a Superintendent, etc). Other times, you might be assigned for a longer length on one project, perhaps 3-6 months, working with a lead Superintendent.
