The Senior Accountant will also act as a key resource in the acquisition accounting and integrations process. This is a hybrid role for our offices in DowntownChicago. WhatYou'llDo Participate in monthly and annual financial close processes, including account analysis, account reconciliations, and preparing journal entries Lead Technical Accounting topics such as Leases, Goodwill and Intangibles, and Debt Coordinate purchase accounting and financial integrations for acquisitions Collaborate with BU Accounting Teams, Operations, Sales, and IT Departments on accounting and company related projects Complies with generally accepted accounting principles by studying existing accounting standards and new pronouncements, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on recommendations and needed actions Play integral role in managing relationships and completion of Annual Audit with external auditors WhatYou'llNeed Associate’s / Bachelor’s degree required 3+ years of experience in an accounting role.
