If you align with BGS' company values and culture, we would love for you to explore opportunities to join our growing team by checking out the job description below Responsibilities: Provide electrical design engineering support to expedite the closure of Change Request for Configuration Managed Systems.Review Change Requests (CRs) for systems that have been Returned to Service (RTS) older than 90 days that have not been closed.Identify the Affected Documents associated with CRs RTS that need to be revised to reflect the work covered by the CR.Perform walkdowns as needed to verify that the work covered by the CRs has been performed.Develop design output in accordance with CNS and consensus national standards (i.e., NFPA 70/ National Electrical Code, ASME, etc.).Review and compare information shown on Affected Documents to work defined by the CRs.Prepare redline markups of Affected Documents to reflect the incorporation of the work covered by the CRs.Provide the redlined copy of the Affected Documents to drafting personnel for incorporation onto the Parent CM document.Provide check/verification that Affected Documents reflect incorporation of CR information correctly.QualificationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience. An Active Q Clearance. Experience in developing design output in accordance with CNS and consensus national standards (i.e., NFPA 70/ National Electrical Code, ASME, etc.).Requires an understanding of Conduct of Engineering, Conduct of Operations, Conduct of Maintenance for facilities operating within a nuclear regulated environment.Must be US citizen.Successful drug screening.Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer (PE) License.An active DOE Q security clearance or an equivalent clearance from an agency of the US (DOD, DOS, DOJ), for example, Top Secret.Benefits:Boston Government Services offers a competitive total compensation package to eligible employees.
