Interviews incoming patient or representatives and enters information required for admission into computer database. Distributes appropriate information to ancillary departments. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities Qualifications: Ability to read, write and speak English required (additional languages a plus). Effective interpersonal skills. Analytical ability for numbers and situations. Ability to type 40 wpm. Familiarity with medical billing; managed care and other medical insurance.Previous office experience or training with exposure to keyboard, computer and other office equipment required, preferably in a medical setting.
