As a part of our continued growth we are looking for a dedicated and passionate Quality Control Manager. As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the existing Quality Management System by coordinating activities focused on continuous improvement and ISO9001/ISO-TS 16949 compliance while designing documenting and implementing ISO compliant systems on processes according to business changes. The Quality Control Manager will also be responsible for maintaining excellent customer service to internal and external customers always. We are seeking candidates who are extremely motivated and are excited about the opportunity to support all operational Quality processes and procedures. Excelling at this position you must be able to multitask, communicate well with others, have Quality Management Systems experience with a vast knowledge of ISO 9001. This person needs to be very goal orientated and willing to work at a very fast pace while maintaining the quality and accuracy set forth in the job expectations. Job Summary: Maintain and improve existing Quality Management System coordinating activities focused on continuous improvement and ISO 9001 compliance.

Essential Job Duties:

  1. Design, document and implement ISO compliant systems on new processes according to business changes.
  2. Maintain and improve the existing Quality Management System
  3. Coordinate the Corrective and Preventative Action process
  4. Coordinate the documentation system
  5. Coordinate internal and external audits
  6. Coordinate equipment calibration and compliance
  7. Coordinate Management Review process
  8. Coordinate Monthly metrics review meetings with LKQ plants and management
  9. Coordinate Weekly warranty reduction meetings with Quality Manager.
  10. Actively participate in ongoing continuous improvement projects
  11. Inform plant manager of quality concerns and product defects.
  12. Maintain records detailing product defects.
  13. Initiate and support the continual improvement of LKQ Corporation, Inc. quality improvement system.
  14. Maintains all controlled documents relating to the Quality System
  15. Assumes other duties as assigned.
  16. Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  17. Be familiar with ATK's Code of Safe Work Practices


Requirements

Basic Qualifications (Minimum Required Experience, Education, Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Essential Physical Demands):

Two years minimum in Quality Assurance in the automotive industry, knowledge in ISO 9001/TS 16949, AIAG Core tools,

Education Experience: Two-year certificate from College in Quality Assurance or completed related technical school; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) can be considered a plus in this position. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, and percent and to draw an interpret bar graphs. Ability to

read, understand and convert from/to Standard/Metric measuring systems. Problem solving techniques, ISO 9000 or ISO/TS 16949 Internal Auditor, AIAG Core tools knowledge would be required. Additionally, Lean manufacturing principles would be considered a plus for this position.
