Packaging Specialist | Now Hiring | City of Industry, CA Compensation: Competitive pay range of $19.21 - 22.17/hour - paid weekly Pay: Competitive starting pay rate based on experience and qualifications Increases: Eligible for annual wage increases Bonuses: Eligible for monthly bonuses based on plant productivity Add EXTRA money to your paycheck by referring friends and family Available Shifts: 1st Shift 6 am - 2:30 pm Monday-Friday 8-hours 3rd shift 10 PM-06:30 AM Monday-Friday 8-hours Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Prescription drug coverage 401K with a company match New Hire Wellness Bonus (see plan details) Healthcare and Dependent day care flexible spending accounts Corporate discounts Text to Apply PTVE @ 97211 Responsibilities Responsible for handling and packaging products and monitoring the quality of product Manufacturing/production/warehouse experienced desired Previous packaging experience Previous experience working on a production floor Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Grade 10 or equivalent education; up to and including 3 months of related training or experience MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract 4-digit numbers MECHANICAL SKILLS: Basic knowledge of machinery or process required. May be required to stop the machine, shut off glue lines, and clear jammed cartons COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Must be able to read, write & understand basic English. Able to communicate effectively, positively interact with coworkers and management, and deal effectively & professionally under pressure REASONING ABILITY: The Job requires the use of established guidelines that are well defined or detailed with little or no choice of action.
