We are looking for a detail oriented and dynamic Production Manager to join our well-established building material supplier that manufactures and distributes doors, windows, components, lumber, and trusses to both single- and multi-family home builders and contractors. Responsibilities for the Production Manager:
- Manage and oversee the entire production process from raw materials to finished product
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands
- Monitor and control quality standards to ensure finished products meet or exceed customer expectations
- Manage and control costs while maintaining the highest level of product quality
- Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Oversee and manage production teams, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
- Conduct regular production reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Manage and control production costs while ensuring quality standards are maintained
- Develop and implement production procedures and processes to ensure that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently
- Continuously monitor production processes to ensure they meet customer expectations and satisfaction levels.
Requirements of the Production Manager:
- Minimum 3-5 years of Production Manager experience in related industries
- Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Business or related field preferred
- Proficient in Building Materials, Millwork, Windows, and Doors
- Proven work experience as a manager
- Bilingual English/Spanishpreferred
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
