Title: Jr. Guidewire Developer
Location: Sun Prairie, WI of NY (Remote Role)
Visa: UCS/GC/Any Work Visa

Job Scope: Experience and other skills:
  • Should have hands-on experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter Development for 4-5years
  • Completes design, develops code, unit tests code, documents and deploys code into the appropriate environment
  • Prepare the technical documentation for code and design changes, completing Guidewire integration & Configuration changes
  • Participate in business solution workshops and provides inputs form a configuration & Integration standpoint
  • Build, unit test the integration& Configuration changes
  • Share technical inputs on the dependencies with other integration & Configuration work streams
  • Participate in user story walk through discussions
  • Study the business requirements provided in the functional specification documents or other requirements artifacts and identify the optimal solution for implementation
  • Analyze the requirements for implementing them using Guidewire either by using Out-of-the-Box solutions in Guidewire platform or providing custom solutions
  • Development skills:
  • Must have effective implementation of algorithms or effective programming skills.
  • Java 8, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL,
  • Database concepts.
  • Requirements:
  • Very good understanding of Guidewire Product framework, implementation, architecture and components.
  • Detailed understanding of Guidewire Insurance Suite Billing center (Along with PC/ CC Preferred)
  • UI Configuration.
  • Implementation of Rules (including UI Validation) using GOSU scripting.
  • Metadata Configuration of Rules (including UI Validation).
  • Integration with External Systems, using GOSU scripting and Guidewire Platform supported integration techniques.
  • Experienced in GW Customization
  • GW MQ/Batch in-depth knowledge/technical know-how
  • B. S. Degree
