Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Special Finance Manager to join our team. The Special Finance Manager will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base by securing financing options for individuals with unique credit situations. This individual will be responsible for managing the special finance department, developing relationships with lenders, and working closely with customers to secure financing solutions that meet their needs.
Responsibilities:
Manage the special finance department, including hiring, training, and supervising staff members.
Develop and maintain relationships with lenders to secure financing options for customers with unique credit situations.
Evaluate credit applications and work with customers to gather necessary documentation.
Structure deals to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Work closely with sales staff to identify potential special finance customers and provide support throughout the sales process.
Monitor market trends and adjust strategies as needed to maximize special finance opportunities.
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all customers.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive finance, with a focus on special finance.
Strong understanding of finance and lending principles, as well as knowledge of regulatory requirements.
Proven track record of success in securing financing options for customers with subprime credit.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in dealership management systems and finance software preferred.
