Uses advanced techniques in the modification or extension of theories and practices of sciences and disciplines to complete assignments. Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating engineering projects. Serves as a technical specialist on certain projects. Makes preliminary selections, and engineering adaptations, and prepares reports in line with engineering principles and practices. Adjusts and correlates data, recognizing and addressing discrepancies. Assist with business development activities including marketing and proposal preparation, as necessary. Plans, coordinates, and supervises other engineers work. Prepare specifications for use in engineering design and development. Assume responsibility for budgets, staff management, client and regulatory agency interactions, project schedule, and deliverable production on projects. Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college Demonstrated minimum 20+ years of post registration experience in civil and /or municipal engineering Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida or have the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment. Require knowledge of civil engineering theory, principles and practices as they relate to the implementation of public works improvements. Ability to use computers, calculators, and design software as well as basic software applications such as spreadsheets, databases, and word processors. Ability to communicate technical concepts to others in the engineering profession. Possess advanced oral and written communication skills. Effectively coordinate, perform, and complete multiple duties and assignments concurrently and in a timely manner. Travel to other office locations may be required. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
