Requirements

Monthly Financial Reporting: Craft comprehensive monthly financial reports, emphasizing cost of goods sold, variances, factory efficiencies, and overall financial statement analysis. Your adeptness at articulating a clear narrative behind financial results and their potential implications on the future is paramount.

Budget and Forecasting: Take the lead in orchestrating budget and forecasting processes for the operations departments. Incorporate business initiatives, economic trends, and operational effectiveness to ensure financial alignment.

Inventory Management: Shoulder the responsibility for inventory reporting and control, encompassing annual physical inventory reconciliations and E&O reserve analysis.

Standard Costing: Guarantee the precision of standard costing and inventory costs, leading an annual review and analysis of standard costs for revaluation.

New Product Development: Provide indispensable financial support for new product development initiatives, guiding decisions that significantly impact the company's growth.

Capital Projects: Function as a capital project administrator, ensuring that proposed capital projects are meticulously documented for justification, classification of capital vs. expense, asset write-off, and payback. Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and purchasing.

Strategic Financial Counsel: Deliver financial and analytical counsel to facilitate decision-making for our strategic business initiatives, adding substantial business value.

Process Improvement: Identify and execute process improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate technical proficiency in financial tools and systems to maximize their potential.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of 4 years of financial analysis experience is required.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.

Organization: Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Analytical Thinking: A critical thinker with the ability to analyze data effectively.

Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and database tools is necessary. Experience with the NetSuite ERP system is a plus.

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related financial discipline is preferred.
