Ours is a culture focused on what we can accomplish today, and where it can lead us tomorrow.IMS is currently seeking a full-time Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology department in Avondale, ArizonaEssential Functions:Provide patient services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patientsPerform patient assessments, diagnosis & treatment plans, perform physical examinations, consultations, patient counseling/education, family planning, and well women examsOrders and interprets patient care tests, treatments and examsHandles prescription needs, provides advice regarding chronic pain problems, general health education and coordination of careEducation and Licensure:Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant educational program and passage of board-approved certifying examMust possess a license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Arizona.Experience:One year of experience in Cardiology is requiredBenefits of Working with IMS:Generous base payLicense and Malpractice fees paidCME reimbursementCompany paid life insuranceCompany paid long-term disabilityLeadership opportunitiesPaid Time OffMedical benefits401(k) with immediate vesting and company match, up to 4%*IMS is a tobacco-free workplace.IMS is an equal employment opportunity employer.
