Engineering Manager

If so and you are ready to take charge in a growing and changing culture you will want to check out this opportunityThis is a long time client of my firm with an excellent track record of bringing them great candidates In this leadership role you will lead the engineering team, including duties associated with planning engineering programs, reviewing design and method recommendations, purchasing equipment, and ensuring that engineering activities align with organizational objectives. Leading cross-functional teams and ensuring successful product outcomes from concept to production and market introduction will also be essential.We are seeking candidates with the ability to lead two groups - project engineers and customer base and material selection, and the tool & die process development side. A nice plus to have is experience with equipment automation as they move through many changes due to new leadership and new growthQualificationsEducation/Experience? Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering field. Master's preferred.? 5+ years of custom profile extrusion experience and tooling design with increasing responsibility required.? 5+ years of supervisory experience of technical staff is required.? Thermoplastic materials technology development experience required.? Demonstrated Extrusion Tool & Die competency.Necessary Skills? Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.? Strong organization skills to coordinate workflow with other projects.? Must have demonstrated ability as a results-oriented individual and a continuous learner.? Strong decision maker and independent thinker.? Competent with Microsoft Office, CAD/CAM programs including SolidWorks and other relevant software.?
