Nasuni (AWS product)Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:

This person will work under a technical project manager and a lead architect to move a network/file storage platform containing user and application data from an on-prem location to the cloud. This person will be responsible for conducting comprehensive data discovery, classification, and analysis to support the migration from NAS to Nasuni. The role involves detailed data assessment, reporting on data categorization, and providing insights to inform the migration strategy. Daily responsibilities include developing scripts to automate the categorization and preparation of files for migration, ensuring data quality and compatibility with the target Nasuni environment, and working closely with technical teams to optimize the file migration process. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working nights/weekends in correlation with cutover schedules in an effort to minimize the impacts of outages.
