As Risk & Safety Specialist, you'll contribute to our success in the following ways:
  • Coordinate review and entry of incident reports into a database.
  • Assist with follow-through for program initiatives and corrective actions.
  • Assist with ensuring policies and procedures that improve risk and safety are carried out.
  • Assist with motor vehicle accident investigation/review.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of key indicators related automobile driven in the course of employment. This includes risk reduction initiatives related to fleet automobiles and personal vehicles driven in the course of employment.
  • Assist with workplace violence incident investigation/review.
  • Coordinate communication with all areas of the enterprise to assist in the effective rollout of initiatives and programs that result in advancing the safety culture.
  • Create, monitor, and communicate high-risk data and alerts to leadership and enterprise as necessary.
  • Promote a safe work environment by actively participating in all aspects of our employee safety program.
  • Collaborates with Risk and Safety, Legal, Quality, Compliance, People Department, and service lines on risk prevention and reduction initiatives involving fleet, workplace violence, and work-related injuries.
  • Performs other duties/projects as assigned.
What is Required?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration or related field. An equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop action plans and establish priorities.
  • Experience leading change management initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience within healthcare and/or home health is preferred.


You will report to the Senior Manager, Risk & Safety.
