$2,500 Sign on BonusThe Lutheran Home is seeking a caring and motivated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our day shift team. As a CNA, you play a vital role ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents while assisting them with their activities of daily living. If you are passionate about patient care, make a difference at our 5 star rated facility according to Medicare.gov.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Answer residents' calls and take appropriate action.Assist with daily personal care functions.Assist with the feeding of residents.Assist in turning and positioning of residents.Transfer residents using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention as indicated on the care plan.Perform skin checks and notify the nurse of any abnormalities in skin integrity.Helps keep residents' rooms clean and supplied.Make/change beds (unoccupied and occupied).Ambulate residents who require minimal assistance.Weigh residents using upright, chair and mechanical lift scale.Demonstrate appropriate knowledge for safe use of medical equipment Communicate residents' requests or concerns in a timely manner.Immediately report any abuse, neglect, and/or changes in resident's conditions or incidents to the nurse.In this full-time position you will have a set 2-week schedule working 7 out of 14 calendar days with a 3 day weekend off every other week. We are hiring for our day shift working the hours of 6:45 am - 7:15 pm.
