Job DescriptionThe Opportunity: Saint Luke's Hospital, our Plaza location is currently seeking a Floor Technician to be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all floor surfaces including hard surfaces and carpeted areas. As a member of the Environmental Services Department you will be instrumental to timely service, product quality safety and sanitation standards are met. Our priority is patient care in that we interact with patients daily and have the opportunity to bring something positive to their day to ensure Saint Luke's is "The Best Place To Get Care, The Best Place To Give Care." Shift Details: Full time PositionShift Times - 3:00 PM to 11:30 PMWork Week - Monday to FridayRotating Weekends (every other weekend)The Work: Responsible for cleaning, spot removal, buffing, and burnishing floor surfacesOther tasks include but are not limited to cleaning and disinfecting public and patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices removing trash, wiping surfaces and other tasks related to cleaningFills in for staff when neededHandles customer complaintsFollows policies, procedures and safety practices applicable to chemicals and equipmentConducts interactions in a professional mannerSafe operation of mechanical floor equipment is required.May be required to move equipment and furnishings in the process of performing tasks.We are looking for someone that is excited about working with people and have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, willingness to work, flexible, able to work without any guidance, eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, can be on your feet all day, and a team player.
