In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents by assisting with their activities of daily living. If you're passionate about providing exceptional care, come make a difference at our 5-star rated facility, as recognized by Medicare.gov. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Assists with daily personal care functions.Assists with the feeding of residents.Weigh residents using upright, chair and mechanical lift scale.Assists in turning and positioning of residents.Transfer residents using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention as indicated on the care plan.Demonstrates appropriate knowledge for safe use of medical equipment (cane, walkers, mechanical lifts, side rails, brace, splint, oxygen).Helps keep residents' rooms clean and supplied.Make/change beds (unoccupied and occupied).Ambulate residents who require minimal assistance.Perform skin checks and notify the nurse of any abnormalities in skin integrity.Answer residents' calls and take appropriate action.Immediately report any abuse, neglect, and/or changes in resident's conditions or incidents to the nurse.Communicates residents' requests or concerns in a timely manner.In this full-time position, you will enjoy a set 2-week schedule with every other weekend off, working 7 out of 14 calendar days. The day shift hours are 6:45 am - 7:15 pm.
