Litehouse is hiring a passionate and strategic Manager, Production Control to join our team. This is a hybrid position for candidates near any of our facilities. Facility Locations: Sandpoint, ID, Lowell, MI, Danville, VA, & Hurricane, UT.The Production Control Manager compiles and maintains production records to perform data analysis and drive process improvements. Evaluates operational strategies to identify inadequacies, recommend changes for improvement. Responsible for managing the Production Control Analyst team setting goals and strategies on how to improve Production Scheduling overall. Will work directly with Production Scheduling teams in a multi-facility setting. What you will doDetermines appropriate allocation, frequency, and sequence of all items, sets them up in the scheduling tools, and monitors actual practice for compliance to plans.Develop and maintain standard processes for supporting and adhering to the Master Production Scheduling including entering in ERP SystemMonitors scheduling KPI's, addresses issues with facilities Scheduling Managers and/or Master Schedulers.Effectively managing employee performance, development, and engagement is a critical function of the supervisor role, ensuring productivity, morale, and team cohesion. Effectively participate in the interview process, hiring new employees, and providing comprehensive training to ensure their success within the team.Communicates with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and other internal departments on any issue that significantly impact service level.Identifies and executes solutions to multi-plant service or operations issues (capacity constraints, planned downtime events, etc.)QualificationsBachelor's Degree Operations Management or related field.4-6 years Supply Chain Experience in Production Planning/SchedulingExperience with Data Analytics and reporting around Manufacturing Metrics preferredPrevious experience in a Food Manufacturing Environment highly desiredCertified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)-APICS Upon Hire preferredKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesA record of solid results in development and maintenance of scheduling processes and tools in a multi-plant food manufacturing operation. Advanced understanding of scheduling concepts (EOQ, reorder points, product wheels, run rate measures, sequencing, etc.).Technical ability to translate scheduling concepts into parameters in scheduling software. Computer skills: familiarity with scheduling tools like APS, analytical tools like Quantrix and Excel, reporting tools like Tableau, along with basic MS Office (Outlook, Teams, etc.). Ability to communicate across all levels in the organization, and to translate information from the demand side (sales, marketing, customer service) to the supply side (scheduling, forecasting, operations) and vice versa.
