Duties Handle files from file to trial, while negotiating with insurance company defense lawyers and adjusters Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs Assist with case management and organization Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and depositions Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client communication Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, and agreements Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Admission to the state bar association Strong research and writing skills Experience in legal administrative work Proficiency in using legal research databases such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Preferred Skills Prior experience in litigation or a related field Familiarity with electronic discovery software and document management systems This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
