Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Senior Behavioral Health - CPRH Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift; 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 3x12 Hr Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 per week Experience: Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience required. License: State RN License in good standing Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association- Crisis Prevention Certification (CPI) Must-Have: - ASN (Preferred: BSN)- English Proficiency (Speak, Read, Write) Job Description: - Assume responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provide care using the nursing process, trends, technology, and resources.- Perform all responsibilities and duties required by the unit as specific to the scope of service.- Implement procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to assure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team.- Complete initial assessments upon patient admission and develop appropriate plans of care based on patient and family needs.- Implement plans of care, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures.- Modify plans of care based upon continuous evaluation.- Ensure patient and employee safety by reporting and/or correcting safety hazards and incidents.- Communicate with others directly and in private when necessary to resolve issues.- Offer constructive feedback to assist in the professional development of peers and confer with colleagues to expand the knowledge base.- Identify own learning needs and take the initiative to begin appropriate solutions.- Fulfill all requirements of departmental competencies. Note: Travelers in this position will be responsible for unit keys and must return them at the completion of the assignment, with an option to ship if necessary. Failure to do so will incur a fee.
