Inventory Specialist Alameda, CA (Fully Onsite) $35-$45/hr (Flex to $50/hr for standout candidates) Hands-On Inventory + Kitting + Shipping | Regulated Environment | Equity Upside Were supporting a space hardware company in the Bay Area thats quietly rebuilding after a major reset. Theyve got new leadership, growing order volume, and real momentum. Now they need help tightening up the day-to-day on the warehouse and production side. This Inventory Specialist role is hands-on and wide in scope. Youll be at the center of shipping, receiving, kitting, and inventory management for hardware that ends up in orbit. The company is small enough that youll work directly with engineers and production teams, but mature enough to have real process and systems in place. Its a great fit for someone whos sharp with ERP data, used to working with physical inventory, and thrives in environments where things arent totally figured out yet. What Youll Be Doing Receive incoming parts and materials Put away stock and track it accurately in ERP Pick and kit components for builds, ensuring everything is complete and correct Support outbound shipments and documentation Run and support cycle counts to keep inventory data reliable Help clean up and reorganize storage areas Flag recurring issues and contribute to process improvements Support small internal projects across logistics and production control What Theyre Looking For Someone early to mid-career whos worked in inventory, warehousing, or production support Experience in regulated industries like aerospace, medical devices, or food is a big plus Comfortable reading part numbers, picking from BOMs, and entering data into ERP High attention to detail and quality Thrives in a changing environment without needing constant direction Bonus if youve worked with cycle counts or helped roll out inventory programs before You might have had titles like: Inventory Specialist, Receiving Technician, Kitting Tech, Warehouse Specialist Why This Role?
