Join our client who are a nation leading consultancy, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of power generation projects across the state of Florida.As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our mission to meet clients' evolving infrastructure needs in the generation, storage, transmission, and distribution of safe, reliable electric power.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited programMinimum of 8 years of related work experienceProfessional Engineering Licence is a must or you must be eligible to gain it within 6 months of joining.Preferred QualificationsExperience in utility scale conventional power generation project designEngineering consulting experience in LV/MV PowerQA/QC and project lead experienceFamiliarity with NEC and IEEE/ANSI standardsProficiency with electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, panel boards, and moreKey ResponsibilitiesEngineering Standards: As a Technical Specialist, you will guide and direct the application of department design guides, standards, systems, engineering codes and policies. You will contribute to the development, maintenance, and updating of engineering standards, providing technical guidance to others in projects and disciplines.Quality/Continuous Improvement: Independently applying knowledge, you will ensure compliance with quality programs, offering guidance to others. You will actively support continuous improvement and change management efforts within the organization.Engineering Production: Taking on larger or multiple projects, you will prepare complex engineering deliverables, conducting research and making recommendations for equipment and material selection. You will oversee the collection, assimilation, and management of data for engineering work, performing complex engineering calculations and managing budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.Project Coordination: In this role, you will actively coordinate with internal and external team members on moderately complex projects, ensuring seamless collaboration. Your responsibilities may extend to leading larger production teams, coordinating multiple discipline activities, and serving as the responsible charge for a project.Client Focus: Your role involves identifying key client interests and drivers on moderately complex projects, communicating these to the project team, and developing approaches to accommodate client concerns. You may also offer additional services to clients and provide support to business development or pursuit activities.Knowledge Sharing, Innovation, and Technology: As a technical specialist, you will possess the knowledge and skill set to provide consultation and guidance to project teams. You'll actively foster knowledge management, providing mentoring and applying advanced engineering concepts to solve unique problems.People Management: Assisting with the performance management process, mentoring, recognition, and corrective actions, you will play a role in career planning, learning, and development for your team members.Resource Management: Implementing resource management strategies, you will manage engineering resources for small groups, ensuring effective utilization. Administrative responsibilities may include office administration, implementing policies, procedures, and processes, and approving timesheets and expense reports.BenefitsBase Salary: $135-150k Bonus: 5-15% of Annual BaseOther Benefits: Full Medical, 401k Match, and ESOP Program
