Internship HR

This job in a nutshell:

BDO offers internships to young HR professionals. You will join the HRM department, which is located in Zaventem and is responsible for the day-to-day HR management of BDO: Recruitment, Comp & Ben, talent management, HR projects,...

The HR team consists of some 20 people with various specialisations.

We attach great importance to short lines of communication and a personal approach. You can contact anyone for information or support if necessary. We also attach great importance to a pleasant atmosphere at work and really see you as "part of the team".

As an intern Human Resources, you will make a difference by supporting and advising the Human Resource team. You will participate in the roll-out of various change projects, which aim to put employees even more at the centre of our HR policy:

• Transition to a culture of continuous feedback, with focus areas in performance management, career paths, development & wellbeing
• Clarifying the internal employer brand
• Improving employee experiences at crucial moments (such as starting at BDO, a change of position, ...)

You can also gain experience in other HR areas, such as recruitment and selection, payroll and personnel administration.

• You have started your master studies
• You have a passion for Human Resource policy, and feel how employee engagement is crucial within a Consulting company like BDO.
• You are interested in everything to do with behavioural and cultural changes, and can translate your academic background into concrete solutions for employees and managers.

In addition, you also have the following qualities:

• You work independently and efficiently, based on regular feedback
• You have an affinity with communication and information management
• You are comfortable with new Microsoft tools
• You can express yourself clearly in Dutch and/or French, and have a fluent pen in English

We offer an interesting internship, where you will gain experience in a professional strategic context in

Change management, relating to behavioural and cultural changes
Employee experience, providing top experiences at the crucial moments for employees
You will be continuously supervised, under hybrid forms of working, in line with the organisation's Corona measures, and have the opportunity to interact with operational HR domains as well (but this is not the main task in this internship).

We are open to collaborate on a (confidential) master's thesis or other research in line with this internship.
