Job Title: Floor TechnicianJob Type: Full-timeAs a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning floors in various settings, including commercial, industrial, and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently.Responsibilities:Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and buffingOperate and maintain floor cleaning equipment, such as scrubbers and polishersIdentify and report any maintenance or repair needs to managementFollow safety procedures and guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipmentMaintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipmentEnsure all work is completed in a timely and efficient mannerCommunicate effectively with team members and managementRequirementsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentProven experience as a Floor Technician or similar roleKnowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methodsAbility to operate and maintain floor cleaning equipmentStrong attention to detail and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and suppliesPhysical and Sensory Requirements:Moderate physical activity:Push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds to a minimum height of three (3) feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of fifty (50) feet.Standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.Bending and/or stooping for more than one (1) hour at a time.Assist with cleaning up spills and waste (including human).Repetitive gripping of trays, mops, vacuums, etc.Exposure to sound of the floor buffer.Acknowledgement:I acknowledge receipt of this job description and ascertain that I am qualified and able to fulfill these duties with or without an accommodation.
