Pay Rate: $25.86/hr
Duration: 18 weeks
Expected Shift: Day 5×8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00)

Job Summary:
The Technical Analyst II supports the technical standards and testing of Sutter Health policies, systems, and applications. This role involves moderately complex technical analysis, design, support, implementation, and project management for technology-related activities. It also includes providing training services to Sutter Health employees, enhancing their understanding and utilization of technical systems.

Principal Accountabilities:

Customer Support:
  • Serve as a liaison between Information Services (IS), vendors, external technical specialists, and clients.
  • Document and manage issues during system implementation and support using the Remedy system.
  • Coordinate with end-users, technical staff, and vendors to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Manage user requests and ensure effective communication and resolution through established reporting structures.
Technical Support:
  • Monitor applications, systems, storage, and networks.
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate on-call groups as needed.
  • Conduct hardware and software upgrades, replacements, and repairs.
  • Provide specifications, data mapping, and testing support for system enhancements.
Training Delivery:
  • Prepare and manage training environments, ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are available.
  • Handle logistics for training sessions, including attendance tracking and delivery of training materials.
  • Support and monitor classroom activities, providing assistance to participants as needed.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with team members to define business and user requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare initiatives and relevant workflows.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts within the organization.
Education & Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a similar role.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Advanced understanding of IT concepts and the development of processes and procedures.
  • Ability to perform effectively in dynamic environments with frequent workload changes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop logical and objective conclusions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish cooperative working relationships.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, aimed at effectively sharing information and ideas.
