Job Title: Machinist

Job Description

We are in search of a setup level mill machinist to work on short-run aerospace pieces in an ISO 9001 certified shop. The role involves setting up the machine, proving out the first part, performing first article inspection, and running the job to completion. The average cycle time ranges between 7-18 minutes, with 70% of the parts taking 20 minutes or less to complete. The average job size is 50 with a range of 20-150 parts. The machinist will be expected to operate multiple machines at once, including a Doosan, Mazak, or Matsuura. The use of inspection equipment, such as surface indicators and height stands, will be required as well as working with a lot of threaded parts.
Shift: 6am-2:30pm (flexibility once trained)
Up to $31/hr for the right candidate
Hard Skills
  • Ability to set up and operate different machines (Doosan, Mazak, Matsurra)

This is a fully on-site position in Long Lake, Minnesota.
