Over 20 specialties, including orthopedics, heart and vascular, surgery, and trauma services. KH Dayton expanded their Emergency Department as well as their heart & vascular services to include an additional catheterization lab and electrophysiology lab. Partners with Gem City Market to provide fresh fruits and vegetables every Tuesday within the hospital. One of the largest osteopathic teaching hospitals in the United States. 371 bed facility Over the past several years, KH Dayton has received many awards, including: Top 100 Hospital Patient Safety Excellence Award from Health grades in 2019. Responsibilities & Requirements Assists pharmacist in total prescription filling process; data entry, inventory monitoring, counting, labeling, ordering, stocking, filing, and selling of prescribed and OTC products. OTC merchandising Help health care providers and patients in person and by phone; answers questions and requests; referring to pharmacist when appropriate. Comply with state and federal drug laws, KHN policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications High school diploma or GED Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician 2 years retail or inpatient pharmacy technician experience Excellent written and oral communication skills
