Operate spot-welder (single/multi-head)Ensure equipment is set up properly according to specificationsCheck and test weldsClean tips when necessaryComplete coupon tests after every tip changeComplete all paperwork and data entry as requiredPerform other duties as assigned by Lead Hand or Supervisor Produce quality welds as per drawings/work instructions and customer requirementsFollow work instructions, read drawings and maintain standard timesCheck and test welds as per department procedures and quality standardsGeneral housekeeping and day to day tool maintenance to ensure equipment is working properlyComplete all paperwork and data entry as requiredFollow all ISO procedures and maintain quality standardsFollow all safety procedures and policies Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Lead Hand Requirements High school diploma or GED is required.Passing a qualified Welding Test and class-appropriate level of experience is required.Higher vocational welding background is preferred but not required.Experience in machine operation in a manufacturing environment is required.An ability to operate and set up square as per work instructions is required.An ability to follow written and verbal instructions is required.An ability to accurately measure and read measuring tape is required.An ability to complete paperwork and data entry is required.An ability to read drawings to ensure the part is to run according to specifications and work instructions is required.Working the first or second shift and weekends and overtime as needed is required.Experience in an ISO 9001 environment is preferred but not required.WORKING ENVIRONMENT:Heavy construction and fabrication environment: constantly.
