** 2nd Shift - Loader Operator**

**Job Summary**
This position involves loader operations at Dakota Aggregates. Duties include operating wheel loaders in pits and plant/yards, general maintenance related to the loader, managing raw pit feed and/or materials inventory, and yard cleanup.
* Charging trucks, hoppers, or feeders with raw or finished materials with wheel loader pursuant to plant output expectations.
* Management of materials inventory and quality at acceptable levels.
* Performs general maintenance of loader, greasing, and other mechanical duties related to production operations in the pit and/or plant.
* Involvement in company Safety Program with respect to lockout/tagout, and right to know information with regard to loader mine safety.
* Manage yard with respect to recycled concrete in blocks or paving on an ongoing basis.
* Perform paperwork with respect to the loader and inventories i.e. daily inspections
**Minimum Qualifications**
* Have working knowledge of wheel loader.
* Understand service and repair manuals relating to equipment and/or parts and be able to read and understand product data as it relates to retail items.
* New employees must complete 24 hours of new miner training.
* New employees with mining experience more than two years prior to hire, must complete 12 hours of experienced miner training.
