Roseburg is located on Interstate 5 in Southern Oregon's scenic Douglas County. The community is nestled in a lush forested region known as the 100 Valleys of the Umpqua. In many places youll find it hard to maintain a healthy work-life/personal-life balance because the pace of one is indistinguishable from the other. Not here. **Responsibilities**
As an HR Assistant you will ensure that employee time is processed accurately for the preparation of payroll checks.
Essential Duties:
+ Ensure accuracy of timecard edit log entries.
+ Process payroll corrections, final payments, PTO Cash Out requests and facilitates overpayment agreements with National Payroll.
+ Prepares spreadhseets for employee Accounts Receivable payments, special employment agreements and other special requests.
+ Calculates, processes and sumbits Employee Fundraising deductions.
+ Requests checks through Accounts Payable for third party payments.
+ Verifies Oregon sick hours and pay.
+ Responds to all requests for payroll or timekeeping data.
+ Processes and codes invoices.
+ Orders and maintains supplies.

**Qualifications**
Experience:
+ 2 years Payroll and/or Human Resources experience
Education:
+ High School Diploma or GED
**Pay Range**
$18.74 - $25.77 /hour
