With an enrollment of more than 40,000 students, UTA is the second largest in the University of Texas System. Job Summary Provide valuable financial support services to the University community. This includes performing accounting duties related to accounting and reporting for grant accounting, grant award set-ups, budget transfers, corrections, monthly reconciliations, accounts receivable, and corresponding with outside granting agencies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor accounts receivable balance and grant award set-ups including budgets. Request cash drawdowns and complete monthly reconciliations for grants and contracts. Grant management including corrections, transfers, invoicing, financial reports, and award closeout. Correspond with outside granting agencies and University Grants and Contracts department to verify billing details. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with four (4) years of experience in governmental or commercial accounting. One to four (1-4) years of experience in grants or contracts. Preferred Qualifications Team oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials. Experience in Higher Education.
