Burnett Dairy Cooperative is hiring a Cost & Inventory Accountant for its team in Grantsburg, WI.

The Cost & Inventory Accountant will conduct advanced cost accounting analyses for Dairy, Agriculture, and Retail Business Units. Responsibilities include building cost studies, comparing estimated costs to actual costs, and preparing a variety of related budget reports.

Job Duties:
•Collaborate with Management and Operations to review and update Bills of Materials (BOM) as new receipts are developed
•Gain knowledge of all finished and raw materials used by Burnett Dairy and ensure accurate entry in the ERP system
•Determine fixed costs such as salaries, rent and insurance; predict, plan and record variable costs such as raw material purchases, labor and operation costs
•Review and analyze costs to identify inaccuracies and recommend cost-effective solutions
•Coordinate cycle counts of inventory with operational teams and assist with year-end cycle counts

Job Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field, preferred
•1+ year of previous cost accounting experience, required
