Lunch Aide

Required Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Prior experience working children preferred.

3. Good oral and written communication skills.

4. First aid training preferred.

Performance Responsibilities:

• Assists the principal and other certified staff in maintaining safety
• Supervise and direct students as they enter and leave the lunch areas
• Supervise students white in the lunchroom seating and serving areas
• Assists the principal in maintaining an orderly lunch distribution system
• Directs movement of groups to and from the authorized playground areas
• Reports all unsafe conditions to the principal
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the principal that may be required due to special conditions of the lunch program

Length of Employment:

Student school year, but only on days when lunches are served

Hours of Employment:

Approximately 2-3 hours per day. Hours will vary by building
