Daigle Fire Solutions has been around for over 1 year and is growing fast We are hiring Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning (KEC) Technicians and have a need for dayshift technicians in the Albany area that can be trained to also do some deficiency work. If you are a self-disciplined quick learner wanting a stable, long-term job we offer a 4-week paid training program at a minimum rate of $20/hour, and after 60 days your pay will increase to $21/hour. We pay to get you IKECA certified and that comes with an additional $2/hr (and future pay increases based on performance).

Essential Functions:
- Work mostly at night after facilities are closed, in and outside
- Often work alone or with a helper and must be able to interact professionally with restaurant management and staff and be honest and trustworthy
- Inspections, clean up and some maintenance
- Taking photos of work
- Driving to and from job to shop
- Filling out paperwork
- Keeping truck and machine in working condition
- Cleaning Kitchen Exhaust Systems including Fans
- Roof, Filters, Working safely with ladders and chemicals
- Getting to per-scheduled appointments on time
Job Requirements:
Ability to work late evening, overnight, early morning hours.
Valid Driver's License
Consistent dependability
Good customer service skills
Leadership skills, ability to motivate, provide direction and work well with team members
Light mechanical ability - work with hand I power tools
Ability to lift 60 lbs.
Safety minded in all situations
Hours:
A typical shift will start sometime between 7 pm and 11 pm and 3 am - 3pm and last 6-10 hours on average. Typically you will clean 2 restaurants in one shift. Work needs to be done while the restaurants are closed, which for most customers is early morning/night time. There will be some jobs that need to be done during daytime hours, but the vast majority of the work will be done at night.
A perk of this position is we are flexible with schedules and as long as you give us sufficient notice we can accommodate time off.
