We want the time and energy you spend here to have a positive impact on your life inside and outside of the office.Entegris is a values-driven culture, and our employees rally around our core PACE values: People AccountabilityCreativityExcellenceThe Role:The Custodian is responsible for cleaning within the facilities, maintaining a clean and healthy work environment.In this role you will:Cleans sanitizes and deodorizes restrooms and break areas including all fixtures.Responsible for collecting rubbish, recyclable materials and properly placing them in the bulk collection area.Operate the cardboard bailer including banding bails.Sweeps floors, vacuums carpets.Keeps the Maintenance Supervisor informed of all issues.Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned.Maintains a clean and safe work area.Wears required Personal Protective Equipment.Performs duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures.Communicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor and identifies / corrects potential unsafe conditions.Dusting all surfaces and cleaning vents.Responsible for cleaning facilities equipment.Assists with relocating employees within the facility.Assists with setting up and tearing down for special occasions.Let's the facilities supervisor know when supplies need to be ordered.Traits we believe make a strong candidate:High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to lift 50 lbs., walk and stand during entire shift.Works in a manufacturing and office environment.What We Offer:At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
