Production Manager

Job DescriptionOur client, a leading poultry company, is currently seeking an accomplished Production Manager to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:1) Organize and manage daily operational requirements to consistently meet customer expectations through on-the-floor involvement2) Oversee implementation of employee development programs to ensure company needs are met relative to employee knowledge, training, and development3 ) Supervise production supervisors and monitor lead and hourly employees4) Advise direct reports on proper handling of disciplinary actions, performance assessments, and overall communication with hourly associates5) Set expectations, track results and manage accountability6) Monitor staffing needs to allow company objectives to be met7) Ensure a positive environment is maintained to allow for maximum employee involvement through department meetings, open-door policy, team activities and empowerment8) Be a champion for company-wide safety programs and initiatives9) Perform other duties as assignedCritical Requirements1) A university degree is required.
