We are hiring Rangers at Vitense Golfland in Madison, WI

Safety is our number one priority. Rangers must know the rules and safety regulations of all amenities at Vitense Golfland and should monitor the activity of customers to ensure that they are behaving in a safe and responsible manner and complying with the established rules of Vitense Golfland. The ranger may be asked to fill in at any time for any position as needed.

The Ranger's duties include monitoring all areas of the property for safety and cleanliness, including:
  • Indoor & Outdoor Miniature Golf
  • Par 3 Golf Course
  • Batting Cages
  • Golf Range
  • Beer Garden
Other job duties of a ranger include the following:
  • Excellent customer service through greeting customers and answering customer questions
  • Clean up trash or debris to ensure cleanliness of the entire property
  • Monitor the safety of all customers and speak with them if they are not following the safety rules of Vitense Golfland
  • Ensure all equipment is working properly and troubleshoot any issues
  • Monitor wait times for activities and communicate with the front counter
  • Know rules for all games and explain these rules to customers
  • Know how to work all equipment and answer customer questions regarding use of the equipment
  • Miscellaneous Golf Academy duties
  • Constantly patrol the property to keep order
  • Develop a knowledge and understanding of the golf industry and of Vitense Golfland
  • As requested by management, may need to assist in other areas or be given additional duties
Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Prior customer service experience and knowledge of the golf industry are a plus, but not required; training will be provided
