Job Title: MRI Technologist

A Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist performs scans to produce detailed images of internal organs, tissues, and structures within the body. These images help physicians diagnose and monitor various medical conditions.

  • Perform MRI scans using specialized equipment.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Monitor and support patients throughout MRI procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to review images and interpret findings.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Evaluate and maintain MRI equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols related to MRI.
  • Educate patients on MRI procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, MRI Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification: Certified MRI Technologist (CMR) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Experience: Prior experience as an MRI Technologist.
