We are seeking a skilled Business Data Analyst (Internal title) with a Data Engineering mindset to join our team. As a Business Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in understanding, interpreting, and leveraging key business data to drive informed decision-making. You'll support business requests, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the enhancement of our core business data model. If you have a passion for data analysis, a strong understanding of data models, and experience with tools like Power Platform, Power BI, and SQL, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
As a Business Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
Interpreting Key Business Data Sets:
- Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities.
- Translate complex data into meaningful insights for decision-makers.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance business practices based on data-driven insights.
- Work closely with business intelligence teams to develop quantitative analyses.
- Assist in defining and delivering metrics, reporting platforms, and analytical models.
- Answer business questions by extracting relevant information from databases.
- Leverage SQL and other tools to efficiently query data.
- Collect data from various sources (databases, surveys, web analytics).
- Clean and organize data to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Create and maintain dashboards that collect data-backed insights.
- Visualize data to provide actionable information for business stakeholders.
Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience working with data.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying.
- Familiarity with Power Platform and Power BI.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office products.
- Ability to interpret data models and schemas.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights.
- Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders in a cross functional global organization.
