The Integral Group is sourcing for candidates in the following cities:

Atlanta, GA

Primary Responsibility: As an integral member of the Service Team, the Housekeeper's main responsibility is to keep the property free from trash and maintain curb-appeal to company standards. To clean, sanitize and keep buildings tidy, performing tasks including cleaning floors, walls, windows, furniture, kitchens, appliances, bathrooms, and fixtures.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Custodial Duties
  2. Walk interior of property from front to back picking up any trash, cigarette butts, cans, bottles, and other material daily.
  3. Run compactor as needed if applicable.
  4. Empty trashcans at mail house, laundry room, pool area, etc., as applicable, daily.
  5. Regular cleaning of trash rooms and or pressure washing as applicable of compactor rooms.
  6. Maintain, clean, and organize storage areas under direction of Service Manager.
  7. Vacuuming floors and furnishings, mopping hard surface floors, cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture, cleaning walls and windows, cleaning and disinfecting kitchen and bathrooms, emptying, and sanitizing waste baskets, cleaning ashtrays outside, and laundry room.
  8. Common areas and or amenities word to ensure all rooms covered.
  9. Maintain vacuums, cleaning caddies and supplies used to perform job.
  10. Record supply inventory as directed by supervisor. Inform supervisor when cleaning or house supplies are low.
  11. Stock supplies as directed by supervisor.
  12. Dust, vacuum and clean office and office building. Water plants in the management office building.
  13. Help remove trash out apartments after they are vacated.
  14. Observe established policies and procedures. Follow the prescribed cleaning schedule as defined by supervisor.
  15. Painting
  16. Touch up interior paint as needed in common areas inclusive of railings, walls, stairwells, door, etc.
  17. Evictions
  18. May be required to help move residents' furniture and personal belongings during an eviction.
  19. Occasional Duties
  20. Occasional duties outside of the routine work may be assigned by Property or Service Manager.
  21. Provide additional services during times of inspections.
  22. Internal Policies
  23. Follow and adhere to all company policies including Life/Safety, Mold and Mildew, Uniforms, Bedbugs etc.
  24. Adhere to the handheld telephone policy and ensure phone is charged and operational daily.
  25. Service Requests
  26. Complete service requests as directed by the Service Manager.
  27. Log and complete requests on mobile devices.
  28. Make Service Manager aware of any concerns noted in apartment homes that may require follow-up after initial request is completed.
Experience/Qualifications:
  1. Previous Work Experience
  2. This is an entry-level position.
  3. Prefer some experience including housekeeping.
  4. Experience in dealing with the general public is helpful.
  5. Education/Training
  6. High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  7. Physical/Health/Schedule
  8. General good health with the ability to climb ladders, enter attics, move appliances, and perform other normal activities associated with housekeeping.
  9. Personal grooming, dress, and appearances in keeping with normal expectations for maintenance professionals.
  10. Can assist Community Manager and/or Assistant Manager in all duties, which he/she may be assigned which may include flex hours outside of published office hours.
  11. Continuing Education
  12. Successful completion of all in-house training programs related to the service level as defined in the IPM Management Service Polices and Procedures manual
